The primary purpose of this website is to advertise Gouldians that I have for sale.

The following are some cool photos of Lady Gouldian Finches:

*Disclaimer: These are not my original pictures; if they are yours and you wish for them to removed or sited, please e-mail or call me and I will do so immediately.*

From left to right, the first photo is of a pair of Normal Blackheads; the female is on the left side and her mate is on the right.

The second photo is a Normal Redhead male.

The third photo is a Blackheaded Dilute. As you can see, his head appears grayish in color, rather than dark black, like in normal Gouldians, but we still call him a "blackhead." Although there are no female dilutes, female Gouldians with grey heads will appear a much lighter grey or cream-colored; they are called "blackheads" as well.

In the first photo, can you guess the types of Gouldians in this trio? From left to right, we have a Normal (Green-back) Redhead, Purplebreast male; a Normal Yellowhead (Orange in appearance), Purplebreast male; and, a Normal Blackhead, Purplebreast male.

The second photo is a pair of Redheaded (heads are pinkish in appearance), Purplebreasted Blue-backs; I bet the male is the one with the darker purple breast.

The third photo is a Normal Redheaded, Whitebreasted male.

The C-R Finches Family & Favorite Links

My Gouldians are raised indoors in cold months and I transfer them outdoors when the weather gets warm (lowest outdoor temperature is in mid-50s). They have a great environment; no overcrowding or dirty cages; fresh water each day; and disease free. I have the lineage of each bird I breed and sell; also, we never foster the chicks. In fact, if I plan to produce an additional clutch with a pair, I will try to keep the first clutch with the follow-on clutch. Lastly, this is a hobby; the money generated from the sale of the birds goes back into their care and upbringing. I only have a few pairs that are breeders at a time. I keep my older Gouldians and they enjoy the same living conditions as the rest. My goal is to keep strong bloodlines and I will introduce new Gouldians from time to time to ensure I have a healthy breeding stock. If you purchase a Gouldian from me, you will know its age at the very least, as well as who its parents are (Grandparents, if they're a third generation bird). Thanks for visiting my website!
